DAY 01: Arrival – Bromo Sunrise Expedition – Ijen Transfer

Our team will meet and greet you at your designated location in Malang or Surabaya (Airport, Train Station, or Hotel) via private transport.

00:00 | Journey to Bromo Transit Point
Departure to the Bromo gateway via the Nongkojajar route (from Malang) or Sukapura/Wonokitri route (from Surabaya).

02:30 | Preparation & Briefing
Arrival at the transit hub. Brief rest and refreshment while our team prepares the 4WD Jeep and safety equipment.

03:00 | Bromo Sunrise Tour via 4WD Jeep
Board the 4WD vehicle to reach the premier viewpoints. Experience the iconic Golden Sunrise from Penanjakan 1, Kingkong Hill, or Love Hill (subject to weather and crowd conditions).

06:00 | Exploration of the Great Caldera
Descend into the sea of sand to explore the Teletubbies Hill (Savannah), the Whispering Sands, and take a photo break at the majestic Mount Batok and Luhur Poten Temple.

08:00 | Trekking to Bromo Crater
A short trek (or optional horse ride) to the rim of the active Bromo Crater to witness its volcanic activity firsthand.

10:00 | Breakfast & Local Cuisine
Return to the basecamp for a traditional breakfast and lunch featuring authentic Tenggerese flavors.

11:00 | Overland Transfer to Ijen Highlands
A scenic drive toward the Bondowoso or Banyuwangi region for hotel check-in.

17:00 | Hotel Check-in & Rest
Arrival at the accommodation. Guests are encouraged to rest early to prepare for the midnight trek.
DAY 02: Ijen Blue Fire – Crater Observation – Departure

Wake-up call and final preparations before heading to the Paltuding Ranger Post.

00:30 | Ijen Crater Expedition (Blue Fire & Sunrise)
Commence the guided trek to the summit (approx. 2–3 hours). If conditions permit, you will witness the rare Blue Fire phenomenon and the breathtaking sunrise over the world’s largest acidic crater lake.

07:00 | Descent & Return to Base
Trek back down to the Paltuding post and return to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast and shower.

10:00 | Hotel Check-out & Return Journey
Final check-out and departure for the return trip to Malang or Surabaya.

Estimated arrival at your drop-off point. We look forward to welcoming you on your next adventure.
Essential Travel Notes:
Physical Requirements: The Ijen trekking path involves steep inclines. A good level of physical fitness is highly recommended.
Recommended Gear: Heavy winter jacket, gloves, trekking shoes, headlamp, and a gas mask (usually provided) for sulfur fumes at Ijen.
