ITINERARY: EXCLUSIVE IJEN CRATER EXPEDITION

Day 01: Departure from Bali & Preparation

10:00 AM – 10:30 AM | Participant Pickup
Our team will greet you at your designated meeting point in Bali (Hotel/Airport) via a comfortable, fully air-conditioned private vehicle.

10:30 AM – 02:00 PM | Journey to the West Coast
Enjoy a scenic drive to Gilimanuk Harbor. From here, we will take a ferry across the Bali Strait to reach Ketapang Harbor in Banyuwangi, East Java.

02:00 PM – 03:30 PM | Medical Check-Up & Administration
Upon arrival in Banyuwangi, we will visit a local clinic to obtain a Mandatory Health Certificate. This is a standard safety requirement for all hikers entering the Ijen Crater area.

03:30 PM – Onwards | Check-in & Rest
Check-in at your accommodation. We highly recommend an early rest to ensure your stamina is at its peak for the midnight trek.
Day 02: The Blue Fire, Sunrise, & Farewell

12:00 AM – 12:30 AM | Morning Call & Briefing
Wake up for the midnight departure. Our professional guide will provide a safety briefing and final equipment check before we head to the Paltuding base camp.

12:30 AM – 04:00 AM | The Midnight Trek
Begin the ascent to the Ijen summit. The trail is well-maintained but features steep inclines; the trek typically takes 2–3 hours. If weather conditions permit, you will witness the world-renowned Blue Fire—a rare natural phenomenon visible only in the darkness.

04:00 AM – 07:00 AM | Golden Sunrise & Turquoise Crater
As dawn breaks, witness the stunning “Golden Sunrise” over the world’s largest acidic crater lake. The contrast of the turquoise water against the morning sky offers unparalleled photo opportunities.

07:00 AM – 10:00 AM | Descent & Breakfast
Hike back down to the base camp and return to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast and a refreshing shower.

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Check-out & Tour Completion
